Had the honor of speaking on the Morning Mix with Alan Corcoran about our new Online Mastectomy Bra Fitting Service.
Alan asked me about my oncology nursing background and how that has had an impact on not just myself but on the service that i provide.
We discussed how it is so important for any ladies who has had a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment to have well fitted mastectomy products. By having access to good quality mastectomy products a woman can experience positive feelings in relation to their body image, self confidence and psychological health.
We also discussed the entitlements that Medical Card Holders who have had a breast cancer diagnosis have, these being 2 mastectomy bras every year and a prosthesis and swimsuit every second year. Linnoco will process all documentation in relation to this and will talk ladies through this process. We also provide assistance for Private Health Insurance Claims.
